Silent Stereo Records Vol. 1

To commemorate us recording and releasing music for over 10 years, Andy and I decided to assemble a compilation featuring 21 songs spanning the studio/label's history. We tried to pick songs that showed the variety of stuff produced at the studio. All songs have the unified theme of being recorded using traditional analog techniques to tape, and all of the artists are influenced by 1950s-1970s music. Within those parameters, I think the compilation shows a fresh take on a lot of different genres and sounds. We have rock/ragtime, country, rock/soul, psychedelic, and a touch of British folk. All of this music was performed by talented artists without using any digital trickery or manipulation.
